At Generators For Less, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our refund and returns policy is valid for 30 days from the date of your purchase. If 30 days have passed, we unfortunately cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be new, unused, in its original, unopened packaging, and in the same condition that you received it. Please read all conditions below before initiating a return.

CRITICAL: Items cannot be returned if they have been fueled or oiled. Due to safety regulations and the nature of our products, any generator, engine, or power equipment that has had gasoline, propane, oil, or any other fuel put into it cannot be returned. If you are having issues with a product that has been fueled, it will be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, and we can help you with that process.

How to Initiate a Return

Contact Us First: Please contact our support team to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns will not be accepted without an RMA number.

Package Your Item: Securely package the item in its original, unopened packaging, including all manuals, accessories, and parts.

Ship the Product: Mail your product to the address we provide with your RMA. You will be responsible for all return shipping costs.
Refunds Process
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your item and inform you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed. A credit will be applied to your original method of payment, less any applicable shipping costs and restocking fees. Please allow a certain number of days for the credit to appear on your statement.
Restocking Fee
All returns are subject to a restocking fee of 20% of the item’s purchase price. This fee covers the costs associated with processing, inspecting, and repackaging returned merchandise.
Shipping Returns
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original shipping will be deducted from it.
For all returns, especially on expensive items, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Damaged or Defective Items
1. Items Damaged in Transit: Please inspect your shipment immediately upon arrival. If you notice any damage to the packaging, you must note the damage on the carrier’s bill of lading before signing for the delivery. If the item itself is damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can initiate a claim.
2. Defective Items (Manufacturer’s Warranty): If an item has been used and you believe it is defective, it falls under the manufacturer’s warranty. We will be happy to help you by providing the necessary contact information for the manufacturer’s warranty service in your area.
